Proactive Engineering

Quality Starts Before Manufacturing

Inspection is carried out entirely in-house and covers material grade, dimensional accuracy, surface finish and function on moving components such as traps and covers. Product that does not meet specification does not reach packing.

Material Verification Grade and thickness confirmed against the specification before cutting - SS 304, SS 202 or SS 316, 0.8 to 1.5 mm depending on family.
Dimensional Accuracy Length, width, height and outlet diameter checked against the drawing, so the drain fits the chase it was specified for.
Weld Integrity Argon-welded joints inspected for penetration and finish — the joint is where a drain usually fails first.
Surface & Finish Buffed satin checked for evenness; PVD and powder-coated finishes checked for adhesion and colour match across the batch.
Functional Check Auto-close traps, flappers, locking covers and pop-up mechanisms operated before packing.
Packing Check Protective, retail-ready packing verified for finish protection in transit and correct labelling.

8 Verification Parameters

Rigorous Quality Control Checkpoints

Every batch manufactured by Pridel is evaluated across these mandatory parameters.

CHECKPOINT 01

Raw Material Selection & Grade Check

Every stainless steel sheet is checked for grade (SS 304 / SS 202), thickness and surface condition before production begins.

CHECKPOINT 02

Precision Cutting & Forming

Laser-cut, bent and pressed parts are measured against product drawings, starting with a first-piece check on every run.

CHECKPOINT 03

Argon Welding & Joint Strength

Argon (TIG) welded seams are inspected for full fusion, pinholes and cracks, for leak-resistant, long-lasting drain bodies.

CHECKPOINT 04

Surface Finish & Colour Match

Satin, PVD Gold, Rose Gold, Black and P.C. Black finishes are checked for even texture, no marks and a consistent colour across the batch.

CHECKPOINT 05

Cockroach Trap & Flapper Mechanism Test

Each trap bowl and flapper is checked to open freely under water flow and close back fully to help block odour and insects.

CHECKPOINT 06

Fittings & Assembly Check

Gratings, frames, locking parts, tile-insert trays and accessory fittings are assembled and checked for correct fit, alignment and laser marking.

CHECKPOINT 07

Final Inspection & Protective Packaging

Finished products are cleaned, wrapped in protective film and packed in labelled cartons with the correct codes and quantities.

CHECKPOINT 08

Pre-Dispatch & Shipping Check

Every order is matched against the order list for codes, finishes and quantities, and carton condition and documents are verified before shipping.
